Hardware question!!

Hello! im giving my kitchen a little bit of a refresh and have decided to change out the cabinet hardware, however im unsure if the metals im mixing will work- please help!

currently my cabinets are a very light sage green, my appliances are stainless steel, and my cabinet hardware, kitchen lighting and pot filler is matte black- Im wanting lighten up the room by changing the cabinet hardware.

if i change the cabinet hardware to brass the new set up would be:

cabinets color- VERY light sage green

cabinet hardware- antique brass from rejuvenation hardware

appliances- stainless steel

pot filler- matte black

light fixtures- matte black

Im concerned the new setup will have too many metals going on- thoughts??

Please post a picture. It is too hard to visualize. A lot depends on the size of the space, how many hardware pieces you have and need.

Why not stainless steel or chrome for the hardware?

sorry, not the best picture. i had to cut out a lot of the kitchen area because my kids are in the room and they did not want to be photographed…

we swapped out some of the hardware on the upper cabinets to get a feel of what the brass would look like- right now Im not crazy about it.

the plan is to change out the lighting, add cafe curtains above the sink, and we are open to changing the faucet/ pot filler. i guess my question is: should we keep the black cabinet hardware or should we lighten things up with the brass? right now, aside from the appliances being stainless steel, all the cabinet hardware and light fixtures are matte black

The pic is not helpful but IMO the space looks very cluttered and cramped so a simple stainless pull or knob would be my choice . You get the kids out of the space an take a proper picture please

I would lean brass to help connect to the warm flooring - if it were me, I would probably skip having any black in the space and focus on creams and greens and the flooring but it’s personal preference for sure
