Will you be keeping the cream chairs with the white table? I suggest you paint the door and trim and wait a week or so minimum before painting the ceiling.

What a great space you've created. Yes to color drenching this room. I like all of your paint suggestions. You can do the ceiling the same color as the walls but cut the color by 50%, which will even out the tones with the walls and not make the ceiling feel too dark.

Your room feels nicely eclectic. I'd get a chandelier that has a contemporary take on vintage. That is how I'd describe your chairs and it would be nice to have lighting in that vein too.

A white bowl/dish light would pop well against your dark wall and ceiling. I like the black of this one as it is a nod to the chair legs.
