I have a few lates putting up scapes now….wont see blooms on them for a few weeks.

A small clump on Pizza Crust, it is done now. Not as many buds as usual and scapes a bit shorter.

A small clump on Trance, it is trying to leap.

This is the biggest bloom I have ever seen on Final Touch, almost six inches

Autumn Minaret in front of a Little Lamb hydrangea.

A nice clump of Laura Harwood, wishthe photo was better. scapes are shorter this season.

Late to the Party is getting started.

Arnold’s Daughter was added this spring, from Laura in Michigan. I was surprised to see a scape, will have a few blooms

Nice post, Sherry. Final Touch and Laura Harwood are my favorites of these. Really neat that Final Touch is so large this year!

Pizza Crust has a nice blend of color. I never had clean blooms on Laura Harwood when I was in NYS so you are lucky to see gorgeous blooms. I assume the drought has finally passed for your area and your getting some much needed rain.

Nice clumps on Trance and Pizza Crust. Laura Harwood is always such a pretty color. The height of Autumn Minaret always makes me smile!

I was talking to a friend just yesterday about my dislike of really tall daylilies except for..... "one a girl in my group grows" - and yup, that girl is you. I always like your Autumn Minaret. If I had any place to put it in ground I'd have it. So good to see it every year..........Maryl

I'm amazed that you have some lates just now putting up scapes. How nice it will be to have blooms later in August. I love the photo of Autumn Minaret with the hydrangeas! Pretty shot of your bigger-than-usual Final Touch!

I always liked the look of Final Touch and Laura Harwood. Neither liked me though, tried each several times and got crown rot each time. I could have sent you Arnold's Daughter, it is a good plant. I think I got mine originally from New York Rita.

Trance has made a nice show here this year, even in a second-rate location. It took a while to take off.

That looks so nice, sherry Laura Harwood can be short scaped especially if it is drier at least that has been the case here.
