Bathroom Vanity layout

Hi everyone. Needing some suggestions on vanity cabinet layout the area that is allotted is 84” to 86”. Our style is mid-century organic with a touch a minimalism. We are thinking 24 inches for our sink cabinets with doors and saving more space for drawers since we’re getting older. We thought about three sets of drawers (drawers on either side of our sinks and a set in the middle). Not sure if we should go with 3,4, or five drawers concerned about how visually it would look(like too busy). We are mostly going with flat panels or skinny shaker for our cabinet style in walnut. First photo is taken from the remodeled bedroom and has a walkway going to the closet on the far right What do you guys suggest?

I also have a 96” vanity. It is comprised of two 24” sink bases, two 15” drawer bases and one 18” drawer base. That is the actual size of the cabinet. The interior width of the drawers in those base cabinets is about 5” less than the width of the cabinet. I chose to have a shallow top drawer and 2 deeper drawers in the cabinets.

Since you have 10” less width for your vanity, you might want to consider two 24” sink bases and 2 sets of drawer bases that are 19” wide. I think that 3 sets of drawers would result in drawers with interior widths that would be too small.

I wouldn't worry so much about how it looks, get the organization you need.

I wouldn't do 5 drawers.

How tall is the vanity and will you have a separate place for towels?

Hi Lyn with counter top we are requesting 36” also there is room on side of vanity and wall for hand towels. Bath towels in another area

For 84 inches, I would probably do two 30 inch sink cabinets and a a drawer bank 24 inches wide (maybe 4 drawers) in the middle of the vanity.

Ours is somewhere around 96” , we have two 22” sink base cabinets and three sets of drawers. Would definitely keep it to 3 drawers in each drawer stack or you won’t have much room to store larger stuff. Happy with our setup and we have plenty of storage space. We do have a linen closet in bathroom as well, so we don’t need to use any vanity space for towel storage.

Our bathroom vanity has 4 drawers with the counter 36 inches high. The top two drawers are less deep than the bottom two. I think think they work okay. (side mount glides). If you want equally sized drawers, 3 might work better.

If you only have 86 inches of width to work with, check and see what cabinet layouts would give you the drawers you need.

Thank you S M for the info. Are all the drawers all the same width? We have thought about reducing sink cabs to 22”. They are an older 50s sinks. I just love their style and want to incorporate them. I was concerned about the door cabs looking “skinny” but yours don’t. I don’t want to do 30” cabs…a waist of space. Thank you for your advice.
