Feng Shui: Studio!

Hi everyone!
I’m moving into a 500 sqft. studio in a couple of weeks and I have the opportunity to start from the ground up in regards to buying new furniture and laying out the space how I feel is best. This is my first time living alone and I would love to hear some insight of how you think the layout should fit best both logistically and energetically. I’m hoping to have the essentials:
• bed (twin/full- depending on the space)
• small desk for work
• TV stand
• couch
• coffee table (may have to double as a dining table)

Since this is my first time living alone, I would love to host small gatherings and make the space feel both welcoming and cozy. Unfortunately, a major note that the landlord has listed is a restriction toward drilling/nailing holes in the walls. Therefore, I’d have to consider adhesive options for additional accessories such as curtains or light fixtures.

If feng shui is the aim then IMO neither of the inspo pics are good examples , they seem over;y cluttered for a peaceful feel. This one I found maybe look at the differences . It ia all about energy flow and you can find online great articles about how to create good flow even in tiny spaces

Can you post a picture of the 4th wall we cannot see? there must be a bathroom, we cannot see where it is.

And what are the dimensions of the room? 20' by 25' ?

First step is to figure what/where is possible. Create different floor plans and you’ll soon figure out what works best, ie: you mentioned hosting small gatherings and maybe start there as it will take up the most space. Following FS may be difficult, so just aim for calm and welcoming and the layout won’t be as critical. Consider a screen to create a visual separation of the bedroom area.

Once this is figured out, only then start purchasing.

I am wondering what direction the large windows look to?

I would buy a room divider shelving unit to create a bedroom in the solid corner of the kitchen. The bedroom will not be used while you are in the kitchen.

Keep the two window are for a 'living room and desk/work area, separate from the bedroom.

You didn't mention a budget. Do you have an idea where you will furnish the apt. from?

IKEA? is it a DIY, will you be transporting furniture yourself? Delivery?

Colors? style? interests? What kind of clothing storage do you need? professional, athletic? Is the kitchen adequate or do you need more appliances?

Is there a third window on the unseen wall? That might make a difference as to layout.
