Paint color ideas for kitchen

My great room wall color is Dunn Edwards Aspen Hush. This is what the interior designer suggested for me as it came close to the color of the cabinets in the kitchen.
I want to repaint the kitchen cabinets, but I don't know what the color is, as it was painted by the previous owner .
I'm wondering if I should paint the cabinets Aspen Hush so it ties into the wall color, or perhaps a different color entirely?

Why are you painting your cabinets? They look like they are in pretty good shape.

Just to freshen it up a little bit, but I don't know if I should paint them the color of the wall so it ties in. There are some areas where the paint is chipped and worn away. I'm guessing this paint might be + 10 years old

Ah, OK. Well, cabinet prep is 90% of the work. Then you need the right formulation of paint and the right color. Sherwin Williams Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel is a great coating for cabinets. Your Aspen Hush is similar to SW Composed, which goes well with SW Green Trance, and SW Greek Villa would make a nice, bright wall paint.

Those are nice colors!
What I thought about doing is remove a drawer, clean it up first and take it to the paint shop and have it matched as close as possible. The. Composed color looks good 👍
