I know this isn’t the best photo, but my wife and I want to make our living room come together and I would like to have trim on the highlighted area in this photo (may have to zoom in to see highlight. Or to turn it into the arch with one of those kits you can get online. I’m not sure the best way to articulate how one would do this, or maybe it’s best to leave as is. Paint in living room and kitchen are different. The issues with how the walls are oriented, the trim could go up the left hand wall that’s roughly 8” wide, across this top beam, but there is no wall for it to return on the right hand side. Any tips?
