Depends on how much other color you want. Is that bottom part painted brick, or brick facing that came in black? You could tone your brickwork into greys- or browns if you also bring some brown tone into something like your window and door frames. You could do something eyepopping like doing your soffits and the horozontal lines on the house in something like a jewel tone color- blue, teal, maybe topaz. Or a dirtier tone, like rust, burnt orange, maybe a pine green or deep ocean blue. You could leave all your trims and stonework black, and paint the siding in something you like.

Kind of depends on what you feel puts the house over the murder point, and what you like for contrast on black.

Not my favorite color for a house, so I would be looking for a new color when the house needs to be painted.

Gray suits the house better than simply black which is a bit boring.

What is the siding material? That may very well help dictate what can be done with it.

I think this is a perfect example when trends may not be suitable for every home. There have been a lot of homes shown on the internet where people have painted the home in very dark colors and it looks beautiful. The homes have natural wood trim highlighting the black or a heavy dose of white trim or have some magic going on. IRL many of the homes painted in such dark colors often just become black holes in the landscape.

I don't think you need to get rid of all the black, but need to add contrast to make the beauty of the home stand out.

I just painted the trim and added one piece of trim to my last home and it made a huge difference. . . Not the beauty of your home, but still shows the impact of just a small change.

Great house. The all black just doesn’t work- obliterates a architect selected materials like brick and shingle. What’s done is done, plant great landscaping.
