The floors selected are warm toned; there isn't enough gray to pull cool. What color are the cabinets? What type of counter do you want? Backsplash will come last, it needs to work back to counter or cabinets.

You can mix warm and cool, it's just much easier to pick one or the other. If you do decide to mix, the easiest way to make it work is to spread both tones around the room. It's also good to add elements that combine warm and cool tones, like a backsplash or a runner. It tricks the eye into thinking the tones "match" and looks more intentional.

Do not go mostly warm or cool and then pick out one major item (floor, counter, cabinet) that's the opposite. It will stick out like a sore thumb.

what's your style? What kind of natural light in the room? what direction?

What other colors do you like, greens, blues? hardware direction? Black, chrome?

I understand that the company's website pics render extremely yellow. The tiles in person never render this yellow in any lighting circumstance. These series of photos are more of what I see in person. (Variance from taupy brown to warm brown).

Thanks so much for everyone's input. Much appreciated. I was hoping to mix warm with cool tones but wasn't sure how/if it could be done nicely. The only selection made is the flooring. My vision was to have a timeless kitchen that would age well as trends change from warm to cool, etc. My plan was:

White cabinets.

Black or white Island.

Counters - I prefer the look of marble-like look with creamy depth base color and soft gray veins (this is my current obstacle, I HATE the brown/rust veins in some quartz).

Backsplash - Not selected. Was hoping to find something similar to what "deegw" suggested, pulling in cool + warm.

Lighting - Eastern-facing am sunlight, but not sun-drenched.

Hardware - Gold tones are my preference.
