Subject cultivar was a spring acquisition and as much as anything I liked the overall growing habit and the bright yellow, in spring, it's viridescent so this time of year it's rather green. What's rather unique about this variety is the fact the flowers do not open, something I didn't really know about until I noticed it and did a bit of digging. Reddish scapes, nice shade of purple to the flowers, what's not to like, right???

The most interesting is that there are signs of pods developing at certain spots. I don't expect there to be any seeds within and Hugo's database doesn't indicate any progeny nor sports. The overall shape of the closed flowers are reminiscent of the fused style flowers on one of my own seedlings, one I call 'Tousled Hair', see below...

Below are the developing pods on 'Time in a Bottle', and as a side note I have seen similar development on 'Tousled Hair' in years gone by.
