At a vintage MCM desk in a backless chair at the moment - I used to spend most of my online time - years - in a vintage metal office chair, but that was damaged in the hurricane flooding last year.

I do miss the padded adjustable back - it was springy, but the Umanoff stools are surprisingly comfortable - even without a cushion. And I'm most comfortable sitting up straight anyway 🙂

Generally, I'm seated in my home office using my computer.

I don't use my phone for internet all that often. I prefer the "larger" experience on my desktop.

I do read before bedtime on my iPad, in bed. Occasionally I'll check something out on the 'net then, but the most part, I access from my office.

I have 2 of these in the master bedroom sitting area. DH sometimes joins me, now he's retired. Cats have their cat tree a few feet away....it's family time-out time.

I have an easy chair in my home office and a rolling table that fits over it. That's where I use my iPad for entertainment purposes.

In a really crumby looking recliner, which i never recline. I put my feet up on a ottoman. Im up and down too much to wait for the reclner to unrecline (power). I bought it for after surgery, thinking i wouldnt keep it, but darn this thing is comfy. its in my den.

In a comfortable push-back leather recliner on a MacBook Air. I don't use a cellphone very often, and when I do it's to make a phone call while I'm away from home.

I prefer to read books and scroll in a wingback chair that mirrors this one in my tiny sunroom.

Mornings with coffee and news at the kitchen table.

Evenings with NYT games, social media etc LR sofa.

Bill pay, serious shopping/research, email (yes I still do) at my desk in my hidey-hole office.

I generally sit on the dining room banquet, with my almost 17yo dog sleeping next to me. Sometimes on the sofa, if I am suppose to be enjoying a movie DH wanted to watch (and I am not interested).

I use an iPad Pro (12” screen) that has a cover with a bluetooth keyboard.

If I wake up before sun-up, I’ll sit up in my bed with coffee, play NYT games and check email.

At some point, I’ll migrate to the sofa, but sit sideways with my feet up.

Then I move to the chair and ottoman in the LR or a similar one in the MBR.

In the early evenings, if I’m cooking, I’m generally standing at the bar in the kitchen, because I’m using a recipe stored on my iPad.

Last night, I drifted back to the chair and ottoman to watch a movie on Netflix. Usually I watch movies on the TV (which is big enough to be seen from Mars. It was a DH-purchase).

I am sitting on the floor in the LR, with the large screen TV on. Laptos on the coffee table. Always liked sitting like this on the floor like this come to think about it, even as a kid. Especially in the summer, cooler and more O2 down here!

Most often on the LR sofa, either footrest up or feet on the coffee table. Mornings include coffee. Evenings sometimes include wine.

Desktop machine at my desk for actual work. Banking and such.

Oh, I too love to lay in bed before I get up - and sometimes in the middle of the night - scrolling through my phone's newsfeed - which is heavily populated with advice columns like Dear Abby and Miss Manners 😄

Longer than 20 minutes makes my eyes really blurry tho, so I close them and rest for another 15 minutes or so before getting up.

I'd spend more time on the couch, but hubby has almost completely taken it over - that's where he is when he's surfing the net - and watching TV. He has an iPad.

Mostly at my kitchen table where my laptop lives. It's my favorite place to be in my house. Light, next to food and drink, can watch tv, see when someone comes to the front door. When I move into the LR for the evening (basically walking 15 feet from my kitchen table, I take my iPad to browse while watching tv. I cannot just sit on the couch with my hands folded and watch tv. I gotta have something in my hands. My phone comes with me to bed. I can do stuff on it for maybe 5 minutes before I start nodding off. I can also control all my house lights with my phone so I don't have to yell at Alexa in the kitchen.

My office doesn't actually have a resident computer anymore, although that's where the router and printer live. I got rid of my last desktop computer and if I needed something in there I'd use my iPad.

Early in the morning, too early to rise, I scroll and play the NYT games on my phone laying in bed. TMI! Don’t worry, I wear pjs. Otherwise, on my tablet at the kitchen table. I’ve always preferred working at an open table. In the evening, while watching tv, in an easy chair.

I confess to using my phone too much during the day, while waiting for whatever.

At night I’m propped up in bed with my ipad on a pillow between my knees. Any other computer time at home is on my regular Mac at my desk, which is built in in sort of an office alcove in the bedroom.

It pays to read every reply in a thread. I have a very comfortable easy chair in the living room with a faux leather (vinyl I think) covering, so spills aren't an issue. I got a rolling table from Amazon and now am so much more comfortable. Thank you for the idea Fun2BHere.
