I need some help choosing paint colors for our home. It’s about 35 years old and has honey oak wood trim throughout. However the honey oak is tasteful and not very orange so we plan to leave it. that doesnt necessarily come across in photos but in person it looks quite nice.

House is North West facing and doesn’t get a lot of sunlight so looking for LRV>20 at least.

I want to go for blue-green color scheme. trying to decide between BM Aegean Teal and Wythe Blue for dining room, then will paint foyer and living room a warm white - was thinking Swiss Coffee.

Would you do Wythe Blue and ceiling Swiss Coffee or something else?

i will keep the painting on the wall, it’s quite nice. would either paint color look better with the painting?

and the roman shades on window will stay- nice linen natural color. Will add linen drapes once painting is complete.

One more note- in an adjacent room I have this beautiful terracotta rug and want the paint color to complement it. which would be better?
