Building a Home Bathrooms Design Dilemma

I have a predicament-
we are in the middle of a new bathroom build and i bought a 36” trough sink with the expectation that the builder will custom build a vanity for it…well…we’re having trouble settling on an affordable solution. the countertop will continue onto the adjacent wall with a 90 deg corner. I’m seeking some ideas but would be open to changing my plan. does anyone have any ideas? for some context, the space is tight and we plan to put butcher block shelves above the counter as well.

With corner turn you have a much more complicated situation. Can you return the sink? They are miserable to keep clean too. Alternative is to but two vanity cabinets at corner and cut out sides to accommodate that sink. I would return the long one and select one that fits properly in cabinet that will be on the long side of the set up. Please post floor plans as requested for more precise advice.

My first thought is wondering what the floor plan looks like. My second thought is bathroom countertops that turn a 90 deg corner rarely works well.

Mystery meat. " The space is tight" What space, please? Show the flat 2 d plan for the bathroom, with all the walls, any window entry door and dimensions in inches for all and everything. Show the exact 36" trough sink and post a link.

The bath is shared? What reason for 90 degree turn....?

It's a build or a remodel? You need a lot more context for good answers: )

Hard without pictures and floorplans. Is there an inspiration picture of what you wanted? I do not know why you can not buy a vanity and do a custom countertop with sink.

Another time assuming comes back to bite you in the ass. Context is key, we need to see something to help us help you.
