Furniture Placement.

I have a bonus room above the garage that measures 23 x 11. It has two side by side windows in one end and the entry door on the other end. Please see photo.
I have closets on one side and I had aligned several dressers and a L-couch on the other side that fit perfectly along the wall. The dressers are 2 low (63 w x 19 d x 30 3/4 h) and 2 high (31 1/2 x 19 x 48 3/8). The couch is 90 1/2 x 59 1/2 on the L “wing”. The wing can be placed right or left. I had a small coffee table in the center in front of the sofa. I used to have the dressers aligned this way: tall dresser + short + couch + short + tall. Here is the problem. I want to add a small vanity table in front of the windows and a small dressing island (about 47 x 31.5 or bigger if possible somewhere. I need help rearranging the furniture to make everything fit in a way that is appealing to the eye. Please help.

Tell us how you plan to use this room. Is it next to a bedroom? Why the dressing table? In addition, a measured floor plan would help us suggest something.

It is a multi-function room . It is near my bedroom. I use it to put on make up in the morning, to read and take time off. I also have my sewing machine there. The dressers have sweaters, T-shirts, cardigans, pajamas, underwear, socks, swimming suits, belts and jewelry. I wanted a dressing table to free some drawers for my husband. But maybe you are right And I don’t really need an island! I don’t have a measured floor plan. All I know is that the room is 23 x 11.

I know it likely feels like you provided all the needed info but it really helps for layout questions and what to put where stuff to make a floor plan. You can look at your house plans if you have them, a realty listing, or hand draw one.

the photo of the sofa and chests is pretty vague. Can you post photos of all four walls?

If you draw out a scaled floorplan on graph paper you can use cutouts to scale for existing a possible furniture pieces. More them around to get ideas about what can fit together.
