New quilt top done

I finished this top yesterday. It’s sort of scrappy. I started with 2-1/2” strips I had on hand and added fabrics from my ”less than a fat quarter” stash. I kept the background consistent with yardage of a music print. I put it on my design wall and went very slowly to make sure my color plan stayed together.

This is their crib size plus one row so it would have color in all four corners. It’s 48 x 64.

Pattern is Trellis by Cluck Cluck Sew. If anyone would like the pattern, message me and I’ll send it to you. Piecing is easy, just 9 pieces in a block.

What a great little scrappy quilt. I see why you would have to be careful to keep your color plan in order. And I think it was a very good idea to add that extra row so there was color in the corners. Nice work, Donna.

Oh, I really like it! I agree about the extra row. I would love to make it, but I'm afraid I also have too many "nexts"! I will make a note and save your offer if I change my mind.

When you said each square is only nine pieces, I had a hard time seeing that. But Eureka!

I think I have it! I can see where you would have to be very organized in your layout. Well done.

Sorry for taking so long to comment. That's a very eye catching pattern, Donna! I like the grayish background fabric alot, makes the colors stand out. I agree with your extra row, too. It frames the whole quilt better. Great job!
