Oh yes, there is plenty of room as table is pulled over. She loves this table set and love does grow in small houses. 🤠💝🤠

You say there's room for the table but we cannot see the entire room and all we see is a table against a wall and 6 chairs. So the only suggestion I can give is, when you place the table in the room (not against the wall), the rug has to be large enough for all chairs to sit on the rug when pulled away from the table.

I find the current rug very busy with the back of the chairs so when picking another rug - go simple - maybe just textured.

Very simple rug. The chairs are a lot of pattern and the art is a lot of look. Go extremely simple with a rug of the right size - or just go without a rug at all.

It is hard to recommend the right rug without seeing the whole room. The rug has to not only look good with the furniture, it has to look right with the whole space.

I actually think the bold patterns can stand up to something much bolder in a rug. It seems to lessen the impact of the fabric on the chairs...of course has to be considered with the rest of the rooms that are not shown.

I like this pattern but don't care for it with the color of the floor:
