Have you considered replacing your ceiling light with something that will add more light and is not a fan?

I painted our last living space BM Putnam Ivory, with Elephant Tusk on the ceiling (it was 2013, don't know if those colors even exist any more). It was a lovely cream color that went well with oak cabinets.

Bring home strips from the paint store of ivories.

Anything but yellow 😅 try beige, white, or light gray.

How about a gray green color
