I would put the TV to the Left of the window.

Face the sofa OR Recliner Unit toward the Window/TV wall (which ever works for you)

Tv back on wall rearrange the furniture the other way .. Install wide Black out curtains mounted high on double rod with a sheer curtains(electric?).. wider curtains to make the window area grander

I would move TV on a side, creating focal point and angled sofas facing the TV and window.

Use this layout

Put longer sofa along the wall and shorter one perpendicular to the wall with side table in the between.

What does the rest of the space look like? There could be a better place for the TV in another area. Below, note the placement of the sectional (you could make and L-shape with the couches) and then notice the accent chairs and TV placement.

Hi Darci, thanks so much for your reply and suggestions. It's an open space. Here is a picture of my dining room and it opens in to the living room. I have actually tried the sofa and loveseat in the L shape in this space because it felt cozier to me but the recliner doesn't fit right there, which I don't really need to keep the recliner. The other picture shows the space behind the couch and it leads to the bathroom and bedrooms.

Yes you're right, the light fixture needs to be lowered for sure. The reason I have the hutch off center is because it makes it too crowded on that end between the hutch and the table. When I would try to move the table down to make more room, it becomes off center with the light fixture and looks odd. But the center of the wall is where I would prefer it to be!

I did put my tv back on the wall, not sure why I thought it was a good idea to block the window with it lol. I've tried it like this but not quite sure, does this look ok or should I bring the loveseat around to face the tv?
