Bumping

Hi-- I installed the faucet at the front. Trying to find a pic( this is when I was auditioning bath caddy.)i

If you want more let me know. Anyway it works fine like this and I guess it doesn't show well but there is plenty room around the tub and faucet.

Thank you. I'm thinking of the same. I see photos of faucets in the wall in the middle which means reaching across the tub.

I could be wrong but it seems to me if placed toward the middle, which I think looks nicer,it would not be fun to have the bath continue filling when youre in it.

I will share i have a center drain and while its fine I think not center would be better.

I dont know if this makes sense, but in the photo you shared, (which looks really pretty) I guess if you wait until the tub is full it's a non issue. I am usually impatient and get in before it's full. If you picture sittin g in that tub, I picture it splashing on ME while it continues filling. Maybe it's my quirk and no one else minds it lol.

I wonder if it were at one end, but at the corner if you will, would that be more convenient?

It is really nice to live with too. I'd say it does lean more blue than gray but is definitely a combo of the two.

I've had both setups with freestanding tubs, ones where the plumbing was at the foot, and ones where they are in the middle. I like them in the middle because they are easier to reach, and I also like the symmetry. It may depend on how one enters the room.

You don't get in until it is warm enough. If you add more water later, you may need to dodge it a bit...eg once I get in a tub I tend to stay there fairly long and keep adding more hot water. It is a pain to do that if the controls are at your feet.
