That skirt must be one-size-fits-all. I'll say the gloves make for a nice color combo. I follow an acct on Instagram that captures hipster New Yorkers and what they wear. I've become a bit more desensitized to edgy fashion choices as a result.

I have yet to try on a pair of barrel pants. My younger sister looks great in them, but she's nearly 6 ft tall and slender, and can wear anything.

I love edgy fashion. I really like that skirt and have a jumpsuit with a similar cut.

Lands End is usually the exact opposite of what I typically gravitate towards. The pants are very plain imo. Not for me.

The bloomers are ridiculous.

I would 100% wear those striped pants! I actually love them.

I've spent a lot of time trying to eat healthy the last few months ... not going to wear pants that make my thighs look twice as wide!

Some of those designers must sit around thinking up ridiculous designs to see how many women will be dumb enough to buy them. You have to wonder if some of them hate women. That outfit is ridiculous.

The striped pants arent so bad although I usually avoid anything with stripes.

Now these gave me pause. I thought it was a horse’s hoof. Very expensive horseshoe.

And yet Land’s End does not sell the shorts, pants, and nightgowns I have bought for years. I will not buy any of their new trash, so they have lost a customer.

Those pants are actually not bad, but I will never wear the barrel leg. I have seen too many people wearing them who look bow-legged, especially if you are getting a rear view. I do like the stripes. I look/wear things that flatter me and barrel legs would certainly not be flattering on 5'3 me, but the vertical stripes would!

I like the pants and their fit suits me fine - it's pretty narrow/subtle compared to most barrel legs, IMO. I have a pair of barrel legged jeans wider than that and strangers have complimented me on them. They're also surprisingly cool in hot weather, even thought they're 100% heavy cotton denim.

The bloomer shorts = big nope, and the final ensemble seems right in fashion, but definitely not my style 😄

I have a pair of blue and white striped straight leg jeans. I wore them once and felt very much like a train engineer. 😎

So glad you clarified the two fashion statements are from different sources. For a second there I thought Land's End had really gone off the deep end. I love the commercials I see about having your own personal style. No idea what the product is but women who pull off the casual Bohemian look have my admiration. Relaxed, comfort, color, it's all lovely. The 'high fashion' above-pass.

The second picture looks like she's fixing to wash some dishes with her Playtex Living gloves. Well, that's the first thought that came to my mind anyway. Ridiculous!

I think the stripe leg pants are okay...just frumpy, so I wouldn't wear them. The picture with the skirt and blue gloves and green shoes...just stupid all the way around.

I don't hate the striped pants, though I wouldn't buy them. They look less barrel-ly than a lot of that style that I've seen.

The barrel pants...I've seen them enough now that I've kind of accepted them visually if that makes sense. The stripe ones aren't too extreme.

The diaper cover is a hard no and the last one is almost comical.

I have a few pair of barrel pants. Probably three? To me, they only look good if you have a flat tummy-as long as you have on a shirt that shows that. Otherwise, depending how tall or skinny you are (I'm not skinny-more athletic built but do have a flat tummy) they just won't work for you. Just my take. I can see where some don't like them. Plus, none of mine are big barrel-ly, only slight to middle-ish. I don't like anything THAT way overdone-where it can look silly.

Hi! I had no idea about an upcoming gtg. The last time I was here with any regularity was just before the Longwood gtg. How long ago was that??? At that time my dad was having eyelid surgery and I needed to be with him and therefore couldn't make it. Since then life has been a whirlwind of activity.
