No curtains Or.... Three inside mount roman shades ONLY and remove the shelves.! One outside mount shade, and remove the shelves. Or a double width panel stacked ONLY to one/right side of the window which will look forced.

Show the whole room. All of it. Floating shelves are not a "built in", and what "cabinets," please?

Which do you want more: the shelves or the curtains?

There are built in white cabinets under the shelves so removing the shelves is not going to do anything to give more space for the curtains because the cabinets are still there. i am not removing either of them.

No curtains, I suggest only roman shades.

Or a large one, placed above all 3 windows.

I am not home right now to take more pics but this is a picture of the model home. i did not upgrade to the sliding doors so i just have the 3 windows. They also did floating shelves all the way down but i did 2 shelves and cabinets at the bottom instead. The curtains look fine in the model home but i wanted my curtains to actually be functional so i would like the panels to be bigger so i can close and cover the windows if needed. I just want to get advice if its going to look weird since the window by the shelves will end up being covered more by the curtains when it is open? can someone photoshop this?

You can't HAVE what you want, because of what you already decided to do, which is the cabinet and shelving, and the cabinet is DEEPER than the shelving, making it yet harder/less wall left of the window.

No need to photo shop your "image". That's what it will look like : )

You will have to have the rod centered on the width available, accounting for the built-in, and equally block the right and left window. Do not make the rod longer on one side ... that will look bad.
