I have a 1970 farm house with knotty pine ceiling, stone fire place, and textured walls. I have baseboard heat so wonder if I should be doing some kind of tile with heat under? I feel like tile is cold? Kind of California. I have dogs and rent the house from time to time. I LOVE a quality wood floor. I hate luxury vinyl plank in any color…….what do I do? The flooring will extend into a dining room. Also on opposite side of room is a large portico I feel should have a quality tile because it is an entry way.
