Im unsure why the pros( not me!) haven't jumped aboard to help you. I cannot help with your table question , for one reason. I love yiur floors! The warm color and ..is it pine or chestnut? Here’s where I should stop….but. I am stopped in my tracks as my eyes rise from the glowing floors up to the drab ceilings that , for me, detract from the fabulous appeal this space(es) could have. My unasked and maybe rude advice: Simply paint the ceilings a white that suits that of your cabinets. Also, remove the green post, but thats nothing. The floors are a warm shade in a glowing finish. The ceiling color is a drab finish in a grey beige.that not only is mismatched with the floors, but , in the photos, is ugly. You have a chance to make it just lovely. I guess that’s why i’m butting in. I see such potential! Now, please except my apologies and go about fixing the table issue.

What a nice space! You have a lot of choices. You could go with one big long table or you could split the room and have a smaller expandable table near the kitchen and use the space near the windows as a sitting area. It really depends on your lifestyle.
