are the new doors in a hallway or open to a main room?

I'd paint the inside of the door white (bathroom side) and paint the outside of the door whatever color works for the space.

If you got a pre-hung door with a matching frame it is probably not stain grade wood and very well may be a composite material and not actual wood. I don't think you would have good luck with stripping and staining.

You could have ordered the door with a stain grade frame (depending on where you are ordering), but that ship has sailed.

I would probably leave as is. Most people won't notice unless you point it out.

Lyn Nielsen thank you - they are in a hallway, not open to the main room. My thought was to paint them them the wall color (Crushed Ice, light color) but my husband said keep them white

Jennifer Hogan - yep, I should have better researched exactly what I was ordering. when they arrived the contractor was surprised they weren’t wood. Will probably have to leave them white, the composite material is pretty thick

You didn't see the words "pre hung " when you ordered?

Leave it alone ........or paint all casings wall color.

keep them white until after the holidays... then paint them the color of the walls, as you like.

I think to mess with them will not work and since they are not in the same space as the main living space no big deal to be left as is I would not paint them at all.
