Kitchen Lighting Layout

last modified: 2 months ago

Currently working on a lighting plan for our kitchen remodel and I'm just looking for some help/feedback on our plan. Should add/subtract fixtures or move any of the cans from where they are currently shown?

Here's some additional info on my approach to this based on internet research:

-Using a mixture of 4" cans, island pendants, and wall sconces for layered lighting

-Also adding under cabinet lighting, but only have a few uppers. Note that the "tower" cabinets will sit on the countertop and extend to ceiling

-Ceilings are 100" tall, so I went with roughly half (48") for spacing of cans

-For the most part, I kept cans centered on countertop edge for task lighting, as I've read cans over the floor are generally not needed

-Planning for all lights to be 3000k, on dimmers, and different zones/switches

Thank you in advance for any help/advice you can provide!
