I don’t wish to steal the other post on this topic so beginning anew with a similar issue. Particularly took note of @JanMoyer’s response regarding utilizing a dark color to brighten a space.

Open to any guidance to our open plan arrangement. Cabinetry and much of our furniture is dark. Presently paint is Revere Pewter with white ceiling (everywhere from the build). We do have canister lights.

This winter we plan to begin painting.
