Turning small space into den/office

last month

Hello,
I have a den that needs to accommodate a home office (just a sit stand desk) can I have some suggestions on how to incorporate that into this space without it being in the way.
Thanks

Please show the other two walls. Do you need a standard 30 x 60 inch desk?

You could place an L shaped standing desk under the TV with your monitor(s) in the corner or on the window wall.

I would put the desk centered in front of the window.

This is the other side of the room. I store firewood on the wall to the right and was planning on putting a small workout area with the space. And getting rid of the 2 chairs. I guess would be open to using this area for the office as well.

It looks like a small space, helpful if you create a floor plan for advisors. Desired desk size? Type of workout equipment? Tv? More than one chair besides the desk chair. Also ventilation (fan) if creating a workout room. Just continue to use this same post to add other information.

Also, do you need a mat under the weight bench and a place to stack weights?

This looks like a man or woman cave, not a family room. So remove extra seating and other pieces that aren't either for TV watching, weight lifting, or office work. Here's what to do:

--Reposition the TV on the other window wall under where you have those bitty shelves. (What are those?)

--Move the weight equipment off to the right side once the two chairs are gone.

--Float the sofa to face new TV wall. Your sofa will now be a room divider. Anchor sofa on the rug.

--Depending on how you work, you have two office options:

    1. float your desk in the middle of the room with the other window behind the desk, shelves below for office equipment/storage/shelf space

OR 2: L shaped setup with corner desk, one side facing wall where TV now is and extension under the window. Anchor everything on another rug to warm p the space. Hand a pendant light and add a desk lamp to further warm up the room. Ikea has corner desk/tabletops like this that you can configure with Ikea table legs. This setup means you can work under the window and get a little natural light.

To sum up: TV goes on other window wall with exercise equipment to the right of that space,

Sofa in the middle to separate TV/exercise space from office. L shaped desk configured on the other window wall. Give each space its own lighting and rugs.

The TV area seems like it works as is. The weights and firewood area is in transition so I'd make that area into the standing desk space. Put the standing desk under that window with the weights between the desk and the door. Keep the wood where it is.

This space isn't all that small - you are really using it to its full multipurpose potential.

Is this space in the basement or ground level? Is there anywhere else to place a your gym? I would place a small round coffee table and move the two chairs a little closer.
