EDMORE INFO and photos added

Room size is 13 feet wide, 12 feet long (22 feet long on window wall, window is 10 feet long)

help! we do not know what to do with this room - we are going to put a wood burning stove in the fireplace alcove and obviously not keep the TV in there, but are stuck with where to go... how to arrange furniture, what furniture / rug (will be getting new), where to put TV if we even should keep it in room (would like to, but also just stuck and want the room to look great). We like bright, traditional, and farmhouse styles - but are really open to anything, changing color schemes too! Would love any and all input!!

Also thought about adding picture frame molding around ? and maybe two sconces on walls either side of wood burning stove. open to anything!

What wood burning " Stove" please?

Where is the foyer? Can you make a drawing of the whole space?

Measure every wall, window and opening and give EACH their own dimension? Feet and inches!?

Do you have a few inspo pictures of "Bright and farmhouse rooms you love? Add those as well.

There's another room for the tv? What is that? Add a picture!

Definitely consult with window covering specialist to make it possible to see your TV during daylight. Choose rug, accessories, then wall color. You could go very bright to dark tones for your walls. Paint companies have great tools to render what different colors look like. Is the wood stove essential for heating? An electric fireplace will add ambiance and keep the air cleaner.

Beverly nailed it. Purchase a low back sofa.

You like “bright, traditional farmhouse styles”? 1) None of what you have reflects that. 2) “Bright” and “farmhouse” sound like an oxymoron to me. Stop playing with words and pull at least 6 inso photos together to give yourself and us a real feel for what you’re looking for. And oh yes, room measurements. 😉

I would not want to have my back to that beautiful window and have everyone staring at a wall with a TV, whether it's being watched or not. I would leave your couch where it is and put the tv to the right of the window where your chair is, either on an articulating arm than can move it off the wall when it's being watched or on an easel in that corner. It even looks like you might have room for a console angled in that corner with a tv sitting on top of it.

    Or:

The sectional haters will pile on, but I love some sectionals and think a curved one (with a wedge instead of a corner) could work nicely here. Long along the wall, curved at the bottom of the picture with only a short section facing the woodstove/tv area. No chaise. then a couple of chairs along the window that are comfy but not visually heavy. Kind of like this only a few more spaces in the section facing the camera, so you can seat more people and have lounging space for tv watching. This is not placed correctly for your room but I like the shape of it and the chairs, too.

Kind of like this only you could even have more sections against the wall if needed. The small return on this won't block entrance into the room.

It's nice to look out the window, but it's also nice to read or do handicrafts with the sun coming over your shoulder. It's pleasant to actually sit in the sun, rather than sit in the shade and look at it. YMMV.

I would “float” the sofa facing the fire place with a nice sofa table behind it. Then put the tv at in angle at the left of the FP. Then the wall opposite of that lovely window to chairs on a swivel to watch tv or converse towards the sofa. If you use an area rug, you can hide a cord so a low profile lamp can be placed behind the sofa. An accent chair could be placed in front of the window with a small table. A nice large statement piece of art on the wall with the 2 chairs. Add some foliage at the bottom of your tall plant to fill a bit of the gap.

You could play with what you have right now to get that visual!
MAYBE the tv console would work behind your sofa??
