I would assume you mean the wood on the exterior? It's probably cedar. It's hard to tell from so far away. Look at the questions that have been asked about this home and you may find an answer.

We used Cypress on our front porch and rear patio/lanai ceilings. Our builder recommended it for our hot/humid FL climate, but it is under a patio ceiling, so not sure how it performs when exposed to the elements. We stained it to complement the wood floors and beams inside the house.
