Roman shades - 1 or 2?

For these 2 windows in my home office, should i get 1 exterior mounted roman shade to cover both or 2 interior mounted shades? Ignore the fabric samples taped to the top!

Of note: I will likely leave them raised 95% of the time. It's mostly for decoration and to add some color.

One would have more visual flow but be heavier to raise and lower. It's a toss up.

Do you feel the need to be cohesive with adjacent windows? Inside or outside?

For my 2 cents—I’d go with two separate interior mounted shades. I’ve had one large shade covering two windows and didn’t like how heavy it was to raise and lower multiple times a day (west window). I’ll never make that mistake again. I also like the custom look of interior mounted shades that tuck in the window opening and rest cleanly on the bottom sill. Best of luck.

I have 1 on a similar window. It is Hunter Douglas Lift Rise. It has been there for about 15 years. It is not heavy, very easy to raise and lower. I feel that inside mount look better with panels on the ends.
