I ordered the below drain cover for a classic shower (calacatta penny tile shower floor) and my plumber stated and contractor confirmed that they can't use it because the contractor is putting in a Schluter drain system. We looked at the Schluter Kerdi covers and they're all rectangular (and frankly cheap looking). We tried looking at Designer Drains and Flo-fx too and they all seem rectangular and not particularly classic or attractive either. Does anyone know if there are any other Schluter-compatible drain covers with classic elegant designs (ideally round and made of solid brass - chrome plated, but if can't be round c'est la vie)?
