Typically the sidelights are the same color as the door. That ties them together as a unit and makes your door appear larger and more impressive.

The iron finish, at least that's what it appears to be, looks fine.

If you decide to select new fixtures then black or iron would work with the house.

Sorry I meant the two windows next to the door. Do I keep them white as the trim color or paint them black to match the door?

The examples above that are entirely black are beautiful. Wondering though about your sidelight and transom window grids and if they need to be white on the interior side? Is the interior side a different color?

ALL windows same color, in this instance white. ALL trim the same color, in this instance white. Do not mix window colors no matter what color the door.

If you’re asking about the trim around the door, I would keep everything at the front door black and use white for the window trim.

How you paint the door, sidelights and trim can vary. Here are three examples of a black door.

My initial reaction is to want them black like the door and leave the trim and grids of the door area white just like the windows. It would bug you less if those sidelights had more window panes down them.

I would leave the trim white to match the rest of your trim, but, the sidelight windows should be painted the same black as the main door.

I like the sidlights and door all one color they are actually all one unit . Why do uou need a storm door ? I liive in Canada in a very cold area never had a strom door only a good well insulated steel door. If all you want from a strorm door is a screen there are other option options .
