You're only allowing for maybe less than 9 ft of half height hanging clothes.

Too much space for shoes in comparison. Consider hanging the shoes behind the door.

We need full dimensions including the door. Not sure if you only have hanging space across the back as the side walls are too narrow for hanging.

Agree with @BeverlyFLADeziner on the shoes - i keep many of mine in wheeled covered underbed containers - i feel like there are lots of ways/places to store shoes but fewer choices for hanging clothes

I do nort see a ton of hanging space. Maybe explain what you think you need for thst type of clothes. are you a girl or a guy. I have tons of shoes and like them where i can see them when getting dressed but there are runners they can be stored under the bed same for winter boots and flipflops when not needed . You start by actually figuring out exactly what you need to store and how much of it . Too little info from you to really help design a space that to me is very personal

Do you need any long hanging space for dresses, etc.?

Cryin out loud "I have a lot of hanging"

Then why a plan with so little?

It's 9.5 x 6'?

Not everything need be in your face, even a "hidden corner is accessible for little worn occasional clothes.

We've no idea your gender clothes ,anything,

Get a California Closet and start counting clothes categories. Hanging, folded., shoes etc

Thank you that is why I asked for help. I did not make the above plans and did ask to maximize hanging space but clearly it didn’t translate when the plans were made. Thank you Jan.

For more ideas/photos, go to The Container Store website and look at their ELFA System. Some people don't like the metal shelves, but I'm not a closet snob! My main goal is to maximize storage and have flexibility to change that storage if my needs change, and the ELFA System works well for that, at a much better price point. It can also be DIY installed if you are handy and/or have a tight budget.

Definitely need more hanging than what you have. I wish I had more long hanging than I do.

There are small family owned closet solution companies. They come out, listen to your needs and then come back and present a plan.

As Chispa recommends, we have also installed our own with Elda but fir a reach in cliset system.

Still no info from the OP so we wait or move on
