One siding would I would do and I would use 8" clapboard. No stone at all as mentioned above it needs to be used as a water table and ALL sides of the home or not at all. And honestly I do not see stone on your home at all in any manner.

You have a lot going on in that facade. I would pick a simple, vertical siding in one color, probably cedar. That will highlight your strong architecture.

Your home already has some verticality to it and usually I wouldn't suggest board and batten as it might make your home "too" vertical. There's something about the massing of your home though that makes me think emphasizing the vertical would be ok.
