The color you have is a good match. How about having it lighted by 50%?

Maybe you need to focus your attention on something other than the tile. Wallpaper might be a great distraction.

Have you tried Benjamin Moore pale oak? I'm dealing with a 2000s bathroom as well and no paint color is right for it. But pale oak seems the least wrong and safest choice.

I'd consider painting all of your trim - especially the trim on the pony wall -- the same color as the walls.

New hardware, mirros, and lighting would go a long way. If you can't afford all of that, just get new hardware and spray paint the mirrors a chrome color.

I'd get a cellular shades to cover the faux victorian leaded glass window and match the smaller window.

I fear any wallpaper would look too busy next to my counter top 😳. I will take a look at pale oak. I have tried Natural Linen, Accessible beige, aesthetic white, and several others.

I will replace the mirrors for a more modern, along frame. Change the hardware as well.

Thoughts on painting the cabinets. They seem to have discoloration on them. Especially on the drawer fronts. Maybe something like urbane bronze or lightening them up with a creamy white ???

I wouldn't open the can of worms of painting a cabinet that could then possibly chip and make the bathroom look worse. The huge white tub is a big visual magnet, and while I like urban bronze in many situations, I think the wood across from the tub help neutralize it well.

Your coutertop reads as one color not a pttern.

I'm not a professional. Since budget is a limitation, I'd start with painting the walls, mirror frame, hardware. Take a look at this post Carla Aston on Updating Travertine Floors. Your floors probably aren't travertine, but I think her advice still applies.
