Drapery help plain or pattern

TL; DR Need to choose drapery fabric.

I’ve repainted my LR and purchased some great quality second hand valances that I like very much, however, they don’t go very well with the drapes I have on the other two windows in the room. The valances are on short windows flanking the FP with built-in cabinets underneath, and the other drapes are no longer available. I had hoped to find another pair and make valances.

The drapes are a very clean green and white and the valances are a more creamy color, not quite ”dirty” but not clean either. I can either replace the valances (less expensive) or replace the drapes.

I haven’t found valances that are great quality online, and custom would cost too much. I have found a couple of drapes that I think would work, but can’t decide. The patterned ones would be over $700 for four panels, and the ivory silk would be about half that.

I did a couple of canva mockups showing the wall color and other elements in the room, with each drapery fabric. Opinions welcome.

Post pictures of your room with the elements that are staying. If you are trying to find the check pattern fabric, you may be able to do a google search. About 25 years ago I had a shower curtain in that check from Country Curtains and the fabric was everywhere then.

Jck910 I found curtains at Vermont Country Store that are very similar, but it looks like the scale of the check is smaller. Might look odd? We just painted a couple of days ago and I need to take more photos with the new wall color. The house still looks like a bomb went off.

Here are views of the room that contain most of the elements and are fairly representative. Artwork repeats the blue, gold/yellow, and green, with splashes of a muted warm red.

The current drapes are a green and white geometric with a background that I feel is too clean for the rest of the furnishings, though they do relate to the trim. They are only a couple of years old, and worked better with the old stark white wall color, IMO.

I actually went one shade lighter on this wall color than I should have. I may repaint, not too big a deal with the trim and wainscoting already done.
