I do not own any Four Hands furniture so cannot speak to the quality; however, poplar is a very soft wood, and could be prone to dents and scratches in a piece of heavily used furniture, like a dresser. I picked another of their dressers at random in your link, and it showed it was made of acacia. That might be a better choice.
