Post pictures of the entire room. That looks to be a traffic area. Why are you putting the TV there?

Did the builder wire for the TV there? Unless it's humongous so it can be seen from a distance, it would be impossible to arrange your furniture for viewing in that spot. If the wiring is there and you can't have it rewired, then pics of your whole room would help people make suggestions.

These are my suggestions.

Replace the current console with something longer (70–80 inches).

Center the TV above it.

Add:

A tall plant on one side

A floor lamp or narrow bookshelf on the other

Add textured elements on the wall (wood slats, acoustic panels, or fabric panels).

How many feet from the TV is your sofa? You need to purchase a TV sized to accommodate that distance. I suspect it will be a rather large TV. I'd just hang the TV put a slender wood shelf beneath and a tall floor plant in the corner so it isn't the only thing on that wall.

your too far apart… basically your couch is in the living area and your tv is in a hallway far across the room… yiu need to divide the space into areas… all furniture does not have to be on a wall

Two comments.

Visually it appears that a tv console will block the traffic pattern from the stairs. So if the tv has to be there, I’d hang it. As others said, you may need a bigger one.

Your furniture appears to be shoved right up against the walls as far as possible. Like you’ve pushed it out of the way to create a dance floor. Pull it all out - there’s no reason for that. Leave at least enough room back there for a console table behind the couch. Moving the area rug (or getting a bigger one) toward the tv will help too.
