guest bedroom setup

I’ve moved into a rental apartment and haven’t set up the guest room yet. I can’t change the curtains, lamps, bed or side tables at this time but I’m looking to buy sheets and some decor. Any suggestions for a classic neutral look? I could keep the lilac and cream rug, and incorporate those colours with the grey bed maybe. Unfortunately, I can’t centre the large rug under the bed because then the door wouldn’t open. Suggestions for making the area warm and inviting? Thank you.
