I'll let you taste them, but I have a lot of roses that produce a lot of hips. Yesterday, I discovered that Ballerina, my hybrid musk of many years, has hips! They are tiny and look like holly berries. I'll take a photo today. The biggest hip producer for me is Morden Sunrise, and second are my two huge Julia Child roses. Diane

I used to snack on Rugosa hips and found them tart-sweet: that's ripe hips that have softened. I thought they were pretty tasty, but could never figure out how to get the pulp without the seeds, which are tasteless.

@Melissa The seeds are a pain, or so I've heard. But good to understand the taste nonetheless! (I need to try them lol)
