Help redecorating this living room

I would love some suggestions on redecorating this living room. Getting new couches and changing to recess lighting is not an option right now. I am open to getting a new lighting fixture. I also prefer more gold accents than silver. My silver days are dwindling. If you can add images that would be helpful.
To the left of the pick is a wall where the tv and fireplace are and then it takes you to kitchen area which is painted in white do move. To the right is a window and the front door near the loveseat. And I am on the stairs taking the pic.

Do you have a budget? If you are wanting to let go of silver you will need new end table/coffee table. Perhaps warm the space up with an upholstered piece for your 'coffee' table something with a colorful pattern, wood end table and then find art to coordinate. I need a lot more color in my life than your space has. Even your art is rather monochromatic.

Create a focal point in your living room by adding an accent wall or bold artwork. Arrange seating around it for balance. To reduce clutter, add layers of lighting with lamps and overhead fixtures, add texture with cushions, rugs, and throws, and use smart storage.

It’s a really nice room - i’d be tempted to replace the coffee table with a round wood one, I think the cleaner lines would look nice and the wood would warm up the room

Moving from cool tones to warm is sometimes a bit difficult without spending money I got this rug to do that in my LR in my old house I wanted to add bits of the trendy gold without breaking the bank It was frommWayfair and very affordable .I would remove the fake tree and add anther light maybe a floor lamp in that corner and a much taller lamp on the end table . Try finding art you love instead of art theat "goes with " your decor

Thanks everyone. I thought about getting a glass table with gold trim. It’s square. I also wonder if I should have no rug at all. I hate the dark floors hate the dark floors

I also want to make the curtains just share White and take away the beige curtains. I’m not sure though. I’m also wondering if I should paint the room space. But not White. Any ideas on a fixture for this world? Also someone mentioned that I should remove the plant and have a lamp there I actually had an end table in that spot with a silver type lamp identical to the one in the other corner.

Will suggest that you move both sofas forward a bit so that they are completely in front of the windows.

A detailed floor plan with measurements, window, door and egress to other rooms would help. Add to this post in the comments section. Someone could then advise you on a better layout and TV placement. The family portrait hiding in the corner - will that be added to this room or another space? Sending money on a better overhead light fixture and using warm tone lighting will warm up the room as you transition from silver to gold.

    Or a dramatic one?

Both of these pictures are nice but @Celery I think I like this lighter one! And that’s actually very similar to the coffee table I was looking at!

I just helped a friend pick SW Whitetail for their living areas. It would go with what you have and allow you to get a lighter/warmer sofa color.

I think I would switch the sofa and love seat. Put the longer piece facing the TV

I switched the couches before and didn’t care for it.

Does anyone think I should remove the rug?

I’m willing to look at that paint color.

Also looking for some examples of light pillows. I like a light and airy look which is kind of what I wanted for the room.

Keep the rug. The wall color seems fine. Don't squish the drapes, leave a few inches for them. Put matching drapes on the other window and get interesting pillows such as kilim in your colors.

I would replace the coffee table with ottomans for the feet in boho shapes and fabrics. Get side tables for drinks.

We have boho textured and carpet ottomans and kilim pillows and it adds so much personality. The ottomans are lightweight to move around.

I did this. Just moving stuff around the house. If I keep the artwork I’m going to lower the opening the right make it even. Still decking if I should change the layout all color to something a little lighter and I’m looking for a new light fixture. Something not frosted.

Also considering a change for the coffee table. Either good with glass or an ottoman that isn’t gray.
