what is budget.. next, what materials are your top choices? then go get samples. cabinets and floor can handle many options… do some footwork, then houzz folks will give opinions . Need to narrow it down a bit…I'd start w a visit to a stoneyard and I might lean into the white family of granites initially.

Yes, the backsplash has to change too. Sometime in the Costa Esmerelda range of counter would work well, but true Costa has been mined out. Anything with a softer medium to light green can work.

The backsplash is definitely not doing the cabinet color any favors (even if you could salvage it knowing counters are being demolished)….your floor color will drive the bus with the counter decision. Do you have a loose piece of floor tile you can take to look at slabs? If not you need to get samples to bring home to see what hives with the floor. A solid quartz is definitely an option or one with minimal warm grey veins. You also may like a cashmere cream granite. This is a leathered granite called Iriri which is similar to a cashmere cream.

Nothing in that picture is doing those pink beech cabinets any favors. You might look at putting a self leveling compound down and laying vinyl over the tile floors. You will have to undercut your trim though, and when you get ready for a permanent solution, that will involve new door casing and base.

Or, pay the 12-14K to have the cabinets finished in an opaque industrial wood coating that is suitable for cabinets.
