Maybe you could find some pillow similar to the green sofa to put on the gray sofa?

I probably wouldn't put them together to form a U, but float it, facing the sliding doors as a separate unit. A rug with both colors and coordinating pillows can make them work.

These are both sofas but they've done a nice job of making the two colors work well together.

I think it can work in your room, but it would be nice to see the dining area. Would you be able to send us a picture of the rest of the room? Depending how bit the room is, I could see the sectional moved closer to the tv, table behind and then a second sitting area created where the table was.

The colors go together fine. I don't see space for it because of the entrance door. I'd add a large ottoman to your sectional instead of the coffee table. Stuff can go on an ottoman.

I agree with Olychick - I wouldn't put your new sofa touching your existing sofa in order to have the two pieces form a "U" shape. I assume Olychick meant by "float" = not have the new sofa touching your existing sofa - and just have it floating in the room (not against a wall) facing the glass sliders.

Pretend that the blue sofa in the photo posted in Olychick's comment is an "L" shape (like your green one) - your new sofa would be where the leather sofa is in that photo. It wouldn't touch the green sofa - and it would be positioned to face the slider. You can add an appropriately sized area rug that will pull the new sofa into the same sitting area as the L shaped sofa.

Between finding an area rug that works well with both sofas + adding throw pillows that coordinate, you will be able to make the two sofas work as part of the same sitting area in the room.

They will look fine together color and shape wise. However, I think you need to consider the best layout for this entire space. It could become really crowded just plunking a second sofa down in here. Maybe you need to move some other furniture, or layout the space differently.

You already own the two sofas, yes? Start moving things around, taking different pics, and posting them here for feedback. Throw the white mattress stuff somewhere else for the time being and start to play with the furniture in your space.

OR, draw a picture of your space, with the measurements for the entire room, where all of the walls, doors, windows, and counters are. Include the measurements of your furniture, and I guarantee you will get some really great layout from pros on here, especially from Beverly.

Watch this video and see if it provides you with a solution to getting the sofa bed into the room. BTW it going without saying you should take as much of the bed mechanism out of the sofa to decrease the weight before you move the sofa.

The room needs some tweaking. Get a larger TV and media cabinet.

The room requires a large area rug.

Add a floor lamp to the area

Get a tree for the corner near the window.

Yes, thanks dani. I meant don't butt the sofa up to the sectional, but place it as you would IF you were going to push them together, just separate them and give the sofa its own end tables, maybe a coffee table could be used by both or have a coffee table with two pull apart sections when in use.

Have you tried taking the door frames off to get the sofa through the doors upstairs? If it was to stay in the living space I would turn your sectional to face the window and place the sleep sofa with it's back against the window. Make sure it's a few inches away from the drapes.

Depending on where you live you might be able to find a sofa doctor. They are companies that specialize in taking apart sofas to get them through a door and then putting them together again.
