No. You have some wood that matches your floor and paint that matches your walls. I was expecting orange and purple from your question.

The wood panel should go as it obviously isn't part of the mantel. Redo the brick paint because it looks redish brown next to the tile hearth.

I would paint the wood plank the same white as the mantel and repaint the brick in a black/charcoal that matches the floor tiles.

Shown is a deep charcoal but you'll have to do some testing to find the right paint colour.

No wood piece on top all that should be one color.

I would sponge in a bit of paint to make it look more like real brick. It looks a bit plasticy with all that paint on it. A paint wash would have looked much better, but, its too late for that now.

I would also paint the top of the mantel to match its face and trim.

It’s not just the colors but the mix of elements. Maybe look for ideas on line to help create more cohesion and be sure to keep in mind your decor, etc. If you’d like help, provide a picture of the room.
