Ordered a slipcover from Pottery Barn which clearly states it is machine washable on their website. When washed exactly as directed it shrank and no longer fits. Washed in cold water, gentle cycle, hung in basement to dry, no dryer. When talking to customer service I ws told the information stated for care on the PB website of the fabric does not matter, only care instructions provide by the manufacturer of the slipcover. There are NO tags on the slipcover with instructions. PB will not stand behind the product in any way! When making a purchase you have to agree to a no return policy. Both the sales person and the PB website stated the slipcover is machine washable. The only reason for buying from PB was that the slipcover was advertised as washable. This was made very clear to the sales person upon ordering. Also looked at the description of the fabric on line. The slipcovers and couch and love seat were all purchased at the same time and ment to go together. Both slipcovers shrank to were there are large gaps at corners were they will not fit. Also cushion covers shrank. Will never buy anything from PB again!!!!!
