My downstairs hallway is small and narrow. My current hallway table is too deep. It's 15" deep, 36" long, 36" high, and I'd like to replace it with something that's 10-12" deep. However, there's a rectangular mirror above the table, that's 32 inches tall. I'd like to keep the mirror.
Most of the narrow tables that I've seen are about 30" tall, much shorter than the current one. I'd like to place a lamp(s) on the table but they'd have to be cordless, since there's no outlet. Given the dimensions of the prospective table, and the mirror, what height would the mirror have to be? What about lamp size?
I haven't decided if the table will be 33 or 36" in length.
