What do you mean style them ? They are candle holders they hold candles no other styling needed .You do need larger candles IMO

I am thinking a bowl-style planter with greenery in the center?

Very pretty. A bowl of greens or seaglass would complement them nicely. Have fun with it.

I’m not a fan of lining items up when table is not being used. Consider placing on buffet and create a grouping (with antique glass) for more impact. When dining, move to table for a really pretty eclectic effect. If adding any floral, just use the two candlesticks and ground with a casual runner.

If/when they are on buffet, suggest only adding a large impactful bowl that ties in with your coastal decor and chandelier; less can be more. Experimenting will help you decide.

Maureen, that is so interesting. I always have a centerpiece on my table. Sometimes it is as simple as a bowl of pretty napkins, sometimes flowers and candles, but always something. Different ideas are what makes this place fun.

I agree with Maureen, not a fan of them lined up on the table. I like the idea of grouping them on the buffet.

Always nice to have a collection of pretty containers to highlight interesting items.
Try a shorter wider candle,or any other eye catching pieces you fancy.
Sea glass is an interesting suggested idea.
Pebbles, shells, small plants, smarties, wrapped chocolates,a tot of rum, give your creative instincts free rein.
The candle holders themselves are nicely proportioned and vibe elegant.

Some idea

or with nice tray

Another important consideration is.. do you use this table everyday or mostly for special occasions?..

That’s a lot of stuff to remove for everyday use

Do you like the candle holders? They are a nice gift.

I don’t know if it would be ok for you to paint them, but I think a green on the base would give them depth and be a nice look with your plant and style.

This ^^ is just very rough to give you the general idea. I love the name of that PPG paint, though... ”Chatty Cricket” 😂

This paint 👇🏼

offers a stained glass effect. Amazon also sells some of the company’s products, so you can read reviews.

For a coastal decor I would put them on a tray surrounded with colourful beach glass/rocks, plants so the colours are reflected in the candle stick and also change out the colour of the candles themselves to suit.

Agree they need larger/taller candles.

^^^

Wrong, They are a traditional style tall votive candle holder!. Tall candles and pillars? No....: )

Buy some beach glass, set a votive in and ADD to them on the sideboard. Candles, clusters or alone, look LONELY , too formal unless said table is set for dining. Add to them, set on sideboard.
