I think the approach to this wall could be a better composition by adding cabinets and art on either side of the fireplace and then using a single floor plant to fill the empty space. Leaning mirror only work in a small number of spaces and it all depends on what is being reflected.

The screen you selected for this modest fireplace is too much IMO. I would select something more simple.

Listen to Bev. The mirror and pot compete with the fireplace.

I agree that @BeverlyFLADeziner suggestion is a game changer for that space - in a good way.

I like Bev's idea as well. Another option would be to put a sideboard on the longer side and place the tv on top of it

Put the TV on that wall to the left with a shallow cabinet under it and the TV at proper viewing height The mirror is not a good choice since it reflects nothing worth seeing twice

Agee with Patricia. Current TV placement is too high.
