Yes, that's what I turned up. A couple are not nurseries at all and of the actual nurseries, only one of them it appears does mail order, they're sold out at this point and as far as I can tell, they only accept pay pal which I do not have and do not intend to get. Every other nursery either sells only on site or only wholesale to the trade.

Do you know someone who has it and would share a cuttting? Do you know a local nurseryman who would order it for you?

Nope and nope, callirhoe. Local nurseries few, far between and mostly run by people who know little what they're doing and won't have a market for a wholesale order.

I think I'll likely give up on the plant. I think Cephalanthus 'Sugar Shack' will serve in its place.

They don't update their inventory or re-open for online orders until late February, but I'm sure if you reached out to them they'd be happy to confirm if they'll have some. I've placed numerous orders from them in recent years and have always been happy with their plants and service!

Yes, that's the only one that does mail order and as I wrote above, they're sold out at this point and apparently only accept pay pal. That alone strikes me as very strange. I don't have paypal and don't intend to get it.

I did just send them an email asking if they would be stocking the plant and if I could pay by credit card.

They take their store offline for a winter break every year, so everything is marked as "sold out" until they can update their inventory in February.

I'm not sure why you think they "only accept PayPal": I've placed numerous orders with them and always paid with my credit card. Are you referring to the Paypal logo and financing ad that appears on the product page? That's just an option Paypal offers and I think merchants are sometimes required to display it if they offer Paypal as a payment option. It's certainly not a requirement though!

Glad to hear they accept credit card. Every single plant page has a "Buy now and pay later with Paypal." So it looks as if only paypal is accepted. Never seen that before on any site I've ever purchased from, so it looked to me as if only paypal was accepted.

It isn't so much the color that attraced me, it was the perfect size--as well as being a native.
