You already painted in a RATHER SAD color to warm it up......? What bedding? Why that paint color? Nothing about the furnishings suggest mid century, and the daybed seems almost Mission in style.....

Paint, get a 6 x 9 rug you love. Hang art.......and first fix the somewhat sad palette.

LAMPS please and use the electricity, put a natural woven wood shade on the window. Find an inexpensive chair that need not be HIDDEN with a throw.
